Little Richard singing the gospel song "Didn't It Rain," with Wilson Pickett and Lloyd Price.
This is probably Little Richard's most famous song. Pat Boone recorded a much more tame version of this song for white teenagers in the 50's because many white parents would not allow their kids to buy records by black artists. The kids bought them anyway and hid them from their parents.
The Quasar of Rock and Roll is the legendary Little Richard captured here singing one of his biggest hits. Jimi Hendrix was his guitar player, Billy Preston toured with him and The Beatles and The Rolling Stones sat at his feet and listened to his every word. This is one of the early pioneers of Rock and Roll. Before there was Prince, there was Little Richard.
